A North Carolina expat who defected to the frigid North to pursue a Ph.D. in Biophysics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Though she graduated in 2017, she remains in Madison for her love of cheese and winters that last far too long. A true Renaissance woman, she enjoys playing piano, reading, writing, taking medium walks in the forest, and lecturing her friends and loved ones.
Was born in Anchorage, AK, studied assorted sciences at the College of Wooster, and obtained his Ph.D. in Biophysics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2019. This was followed by postdoctoral work at MIT. He now resides outside Boston and spends his time in and out of the laboratory working with no-legged micro-organisms, taking a four-legged macro-organism on walks, and changing the diapers of a two-legged meso-organism.
